For over 30 years, Covenant Church has proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ to North Texas and the world. Our mission and mandate to impact the Kingdom of God through "One Church, Many Locations" is clearer than ever. With growth at all of our campuses including Colleyville, Cross Roads (Denton), McKinney, Texoma (Sherman), and the internet campus, the Covenant Family of ministries is uniquely positioned for this time in history.
God is saying something new and we are listening. The local church is now a global church. The next generation of Covenant Church ministry has an unprecedented opportunity to change the spiritual landscape of every culture. We are a generation sent by God to serve our world.
Can you imagine a future where a Covenant Church campus or affiliate is developed in every gateway city in the nation and the world?
Can you imagine a future where a Covenant Church campus or affiliate partners strategically with a Gospel-centered humanitarian or disaster relief organization to provide aid around the world?
Can you imagine a church that, regardless of politics, blesses the nation of Israel?
We can. We must be a church with a “local to global” strategy and focus.
Our imaginations have been captured by compassion to share the gospel with the World through the local church. We have been challenged to elevate our perspective. The God we serve is concerned about injustice, hunger, pollution, war, and future generations. Covenant Church is being called to influence our world. By operating in unity with a “local to global” approach to ministry, we can make an impact and see the Great Commission accomplished in our lifetime.
The technology and access is available. The infrastructure is in place and there is growing interest in our Churches In Covenant network of affiliated churches. God is making it clear to us that we are to follow Him with boldness and walk in Apostolic authority. This next season of kingdom expansion will include a specific focus on identifying, training, and releasing “sons and daughters” of this house into ministry in gateway cities of North America and the world.
It’s now up to us, the Body of Christ, to act with hearts of obedience and sacrifice. When we give as He gives, see as He sees and move as He leads, then the “things of this world” will no longer have the draw for our focused attention and finances.
